Jotform: Forms, Tables, Apps, Signatures and AI Agents
A form builder that grew into a suite: forms, a spreadsheet-style database of the responses, no-code apps, e-signatures, approval workflows and AI agents, all on one subscription.
- One subscription, not eight products. Forms, Tables, Apps, Sign, Approvals, Store Builder, PDF tools and AI Agents all meter against the same plan.
- A free tier with real limits. 100 submissions a month, 500 stored, 100 MB of space — small, permanent, and carrying Jotform branding.
- Submissions are the currency. Every plan is really buying monthly submissions, stored submissions and space. That is the ladder: 100, 1,000, 2,500, 10,000.
- Storage overflow deletes your oldest data. Jotform state that exceeding total submission storage makes the system delete the oldest response to make room. Worth knowing before you rely on it as an archive.
Overview
A form builder that kept going
Jotform started as an online form builder and did not stop there. Responses now land in Jotform Tables, a spreadsheet-style database rather than a list of emails. Those submissions can be routed through Approvals, turned into PDFs, signed through Jotform Sign, collected by an AI agent instead of a form, or assembled into a small no-code app.
That breadth is the reason to consider it and the reason to be careful reading its marketing. Each of those capabilities has its own product page written as though it were a separate purchase.
They are not separate purchases. None of those product pages carries a price, and all of them meter against the same plan — the same monthly submissions, the same storage, the same upload space. Jotform's own pricing FAQ says the limits "increase with each level". That is why this is one listing rather than eight.
What it costs
You are buying submissions and storage
The plans do not unlock features so much as raise ceilings. Reading the limits is the only way to work out which tier you actually need, so they are reproduced here in full rather than summarised into a headline.

Plan prices and limits as published on Jotform's pricing page, read 31 August 2026. Yearly prices are the discounted monthly equivalent.
Every one of these plans is a single user — Jotform label all four "1 User · Individual Plan". Team working is an Enterprise conversation, priced on request.

What happens when storage fills
Total submission storage is the limit most likely to catch someone out, because of what Jotform do when you reach it.
In their own words: if you exceed your total submission storage, the system will delete the oldest form response to make room for new submissions. Not a warning and a pause — a rolling window.
- The free tier stores 500 submissions. A form doing 100 a month fills it inside half a year.
- Jotform suggest upgrading, or deleting and purging submissions yourself to free space.
- Export anything you need to keep before you approach the ceiling, not after.
- This limit is separate from monthly submissions: one caps the flow, the other caps the archive.

Do I need separate subscriptions for Forms, Sign, Tables and Apps?
No. They are all part of one Jotform subscription. None of those product pages carries its own price, and each is metered against the same plan limits — the same monthly submissions, storage and space.
That is also why this marketplace lists Jotform once rather than listing each tool separately.
What does it cost?
Starter is free. Bronze is $39 a month, or $19.50 a month billed yearly. Silver is $49, or $24.50 yearly. Gold is $129, or $64.50 yearly. Enterprise is priced on request.
What do I actually get for the money?
Higher ceilings. Monthly submissions go 100 → 1,000 → 2,500 → 10,000; total submission storage 500 → 10,000 → 25,000 → 100,000; space 100 MB → 1 GB → 10 GB → 100 GB. Branding disappears from Bronze upward and HIPAA-enabled features appear on Gold.
What happens if I exceed my storage?
Jotform delete the oldest form response to make room for new ones. They say so explicitly on their pricing page. Upgrade, or export and purge deliberately — but do not treat a full account as a safe archive.
Is the free plan usable?
For a low-volume form, yes: 100 submissions a month with 500 stored. Your forms and signed documents carry Jotform branding until you move to a paid plan, and 100 MB of space fills quickly if people upload files.
Can my team share an account?
Not on these plans. Jotform show Starter, Bronze, Silver and Gold all as "1 User — Individual Plan". Multi-user access is an Enterprise arrangement.
Will it work on Squarespace?
Yes. Jotform publish a Squarespace integration, and the form is embedded with a snippet that goes in a code block. Nothing is installed on your site — Jotform host the form and the data — so the same embed works on other platforms too.
Why does the link change to utm_source when I click it?
That is Jotform's own doing. Their referral links use `?partner=` and their site rewrites it server-side to `utm_source=squarespell&utm_campaign=jf1`. The attribution is intact; it is simply recorded under a different parameter name than the one in the link.
Has Squarespell used it?
Not for production forms. Everything on this page is read from Jotform's own pricing page and product documentation, and the listing carries no verdict on how it performs at scale.
Does Squarespell earn anything if I subscribe?
Yes — this listing links through Jotform's affiliate programme, disclosed on the button. It cannot affect ranking: the recommendation score is unable to read any commercial field, and a test enforces that rather than a policy.

Check the limits before the features
The feature list is long and mostly included. What decides your plan is submissions, stored submissions and space — so count what your busiest month looks like, then pick the row in the table above that survives it.
