How it goes on a Squarespace page

A couple of easy actions are the only thing you need to perform.

  • Design your customized Team Showcase plugin Managing our free editor, shape a plugin with interface features that you need.
  • Receive the individual code to publish the plugin After you have created your widget, you will get your personal code from the popup notification on Elfsight Apps. Copy the code for further use.
  • Display the plugin on your Squarespace website Go to the place you need to integrate the plugin to and add the saved code there. Save the edits.
  • Congratulations! You have just added the widget! Enter your website, to view your work.

Is Team Showcase compatible with Squarespace 7.0 and 7.1?

Yes, Elfsight works on all Squarespace versions, including classic 7.0 and the latest 7.1 with Fluid Engine, and it integrates smoothly with any template.

Which Squarespace plans support adding Team Showcase?

You’ll need a plan that allows custom code. Squarespace’s Business or higher plans are required for embedding JavaScript widgets – Personal/Basic plans don’t support code blocks or header/footer injections for scripts.

Do team photos need a specific size?

Elfsight’s Team Showcase plugin auto-scales images for any layout, so you don’t need fixed sizes – just use optimized square photos.

Can I group people into departments or locations?

Yes, Elfsight lets you create categories (e.g., departments, offices, roles) and assign members to groups that clearly reflect your organization structure.

Does the Team Showcase include a search bar?

Yes, the plugin can enable a Search Bar to find members by name, position, email, phone or location, improving navigation in large directories.

Can I hide specific team members without deleting them?

Yes, there’s an option to hide individual members so you can temporarily remove people from the visible directory without data loss.

Can each member have a unique website link?

Yes, you can set a dedicated website URL in the Contact information field for each member, linking their card to an external profile or page.

How are contact details handled in the Team Showcase?

The plugin displays email, phone, location and website, with clickable email and website links for easy communication.

Are social profile icons clickable?

Yes, Elfsight shows social profile icons for each member and opens the linked network profile in a new tab when clicked.
