Ways to work with Squarespell

Four relationships. Every one of them is labelled on the page where it appears.

  • Editorial listing

A free listing considered on relevance, quality, evidence and usefulness. Publication is not guaranteed.

    Free Apply / express interest
  • Affiliate partnership

Squarespell may use an approved tracked link or code when sending a buyer to your website. Commission never changes rank or verdict.

    Labelled Apply / express interest
  • Sponsored launch

A time-limited, clearly labelled promotional campaign. It is displayed separately from independent recommendations.

Paid · labelled Apply / express interest
  • Featured creator

Enhanced profile visibility and promotional inventory for approved creators. Featured status does not affect verification or recommended sorting.

Paid · labelled Apply / express interest

How the process works

  1. 1 Submit your creator and product information.
  2. 2 Squarespell checks relevance, ownership, support information and listing quality.
  3. 3 Approved products receive the appropriate editorial, affiliate or commercial relationship label.
  4. 4 The creator can request corrections and provide future product updates.

What Squarespell accepts

  • Plugins and extensions
  • Templates and themes
  • Components and integrations
  • Apps and website tools
  • Courses and implementation resources
  • Products supporting Squarespace, WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Framer and future supported platforms

What we turn down

  • Copied, pirated or unlicensed work
  • Misleading claims or fake reviews
  • Unsupported or abandoned products presented as current
  • Products without a working public page, demo or adequate documentation
  • Submissions that conflict with platform or affiliate-program terms

What creators receive

  • A structured product page

Consistent fields, real screenshots, honest metadata.

  • A creator profile and product archive

Everything you have listed, in one place.

  • Platform and product-type discovery

Found by what it works with and what it is.

  • A transparent relationship label

Readers always know how we are connected to you.

  • A way to submit updates and corrections

    Listings are maintained, not abandoned.

  • Potential eligibility for testing and collections

Not every listing is tested or recommended.

The part that is not negotiable

Money buys visibility. It does not buy a verdict.

Paid placements are clearly labelled and kept separate from editorial rankings. Payment never changes verification, test results or recommendations.

  • Paid visibility is labelled

A Sponsored Launch and a Featured Creator placement both carry a visible label wherever they appear, and they sit apart from independent recommendations.

  • Editorial recommendations stay independent

What we recommend is decided on evidence. No amount of spend changes a recommendation, and none of it is for sale.

  • Verification is evidence, not opinion

A verification badge means somebody installed the product on a real site of that platform and recorded what happened, with a date.

  • The ranking cannot read commission

This is enforced in code, not policy: the recommendation calculation throws if it tries to read a commission field, and an automated test proves it on every run.

The detail is written down, not just asserted: Sponsored Content Policy and Affiliate Disclosure.

Every field marked required is one a reviewer genuinely needs. The rest help, and can be left blank.

About you

Who we would be talking to.

We reply here. It is never published.

The product

What you would like listed.

The public page a buyer would land on.

What it does, in plain language. Two or three sentences is plenty.

A live demo, sandbox or video.

Commercial relationship

All optional except the last question. None of it affects how a listing is ranked.

An affiliate program is not required, and having one does not affect ranking.

Network, commission rate, cookie window, only if you answered yes.

Optional. A code or discount for readers who arrive from us.

Optional. Screenshots, logo, press kit.

Which problem it solves, and for whom.

Confirmations

Squarespell uses your information to review and respond to your application as described in the Privacy Policy.

A different application

You sell your time, not a product?

The form above lists a product. If what you offer is the work itself, design, development, migration, SEO, that is the Experts pilot, and it is a separate review with different questions.

Apply as an expert

A small pilot, reviewed by hand and starting with Squarespace. Applying does not list you.

Questions creators ask

Is a standard listing free?

Yes. An editorial listing costs nothing. It is considered on relevance, quality and usefulness, and publication is not guaranteed.

Does payment guarantee acceptance or a recommendation?

No. Paid options buy labelled visibility and nothing else. They cannot buy acceptance, a verification result, a ranking position or a recommendation.

Do you accept products for platforms other than Squarespace?

Yes, WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Framer and others. Squarespace is where the catalogue is deepest today, which is a fact about our stock rather than a rule about submissions.

Must I have an affiliate program?

No. Plenty of listed products have none. Having one does not improve your position, and not having one does not count against you.

Will Squarespell sell my product directly?

Not at the moment. Native seller checkout is not currently open. It may be introduced later for selected sellers, and we would talk to you before anything changed.

Can I update a published listing?

Yes. Send us corrections and product updates and we will keep the listing current. A listing that has gone stale is worse than no listing.

How are Sponsored and Featured placements labelled?

With a visible label on the placement itself, every time it appears. They are never mixed into recommended sorting or presented as an editorial pick.
