1 Where your inquiry goes

An inquiry sent through Squarespell goes to the one expert you selected, and to nobody else. We do not broadcast it to a panel of providers, we do not run an auction on it, and we do not send it to anyone you did not choose.

The expert receives your name, your email address, and whatever you wrote in the form. Your email is included because they need it to reply to you, that is what the consent box on the form is asking you to agree to.

The expert's own email address is never shown to you or placed in the page. The form posts an identifier, and the address is looked up on the server at the moment the message is sent.

2 What we keep, and for how long

We keep a copy of the inquiry for 180 days so that we can answer a question or a dispute about an introduction we made. After that it is deleted automatically by a scheduled job, not manually, and not when somebody remembers.

We also store a one-way hash of the sending IP address for rate limiting. It cannot be reversed into an address and is not used to build any profile of you.

• Not shared with anyone other than the expert you selected.
• Not used to send you marketing.
• Not sold, and not shared for advertising.

3 What happens after you send it

Whatever you agree with the expert is between you and them. Squarespell is not a party to it, does not take a fee from it, and cannot enforce it.

If an expert does not reply, tell us. It is one of the things that can cause a profile to be suspended, because a contact route that does not reach anybody is a listing that is no longer true.
